Specialties: Consumer Marketing, General Management, Business Development, Events/Conferences Dick is a Managing Director at The Howard-Sloan-Koller Group, and he leads searches in general business management and finance, consumer marketing, digital business development, and virtual and live events management for digital and print organizations. He brings to his client and candidate relationships deep expertise in the intricate details of circulation and audience development, direct and online marketing, and operations. Prior to joining HSK in 1994, Dick was co-founder of a national sports newsletter company, Tennis Player. He also was an editor at Hearst Business Magazines, and he spent three years as a correspondent at The (Bergen) Record. Dick’s byline has appeared in a wide range of magazines and newspapers, ranging from the San Francisco Chronicle to Publishers Weekly. Dick earned an MBA in Management from the Stern School of Business of New York University and holds a BA in sociology from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a member of the Direct Marketing Association and the Direct Marketing Club of New York. Additionally, Dick volunteers in the Alumni and Parents Admission Program of Washington University and the Oliver Scholars Program. |
